Join us at one of our Wine Events or DinnersWineonline.ie are delighted to welcome David de la Fuente, Export Director at Bodegas Muga, for our first wine dinner of 2027. Founded in Haro in 1932 and still entirely family-run, Muga is one of Rioja Alta’s most celebrated and traditional producers. It is the only bodega in Spain with its own master coopers, who hand-craft every barrel used to age its wines.
The evening begins with Muga Blanco on arrival before David guides us through a three-course dinner at One Ballsbridge. Along the way we’ll taste six wines, including the Rosado, Reserva, Selección Especial and Prado Enea. We’ve worked with these wines in Ireland for over 25 years, and they remain firm customer favourites.
The highlight of the night is Torre Muga. Just 15 bottles of this rare wine are allocated to Ireland each year, and every guest will have the chance to taste it. Tickets are €120 per person, and the evening runs from 7.00pm until around 10.30pm.
Wineonline.ie are delighted to bring you an evening with Leyre Cordón Moreno, Export Director at Bodegas Navajas. Founded in 1918 in the village of Navarrete, Rioja Alta, this family-owned winery has been in the hands of the Navajas family since 1978. It’s known for its meticulous attention to detail at every stage, from the vineyard to the bottle.
We’ve been the exclusive Irish importers of Navajas for over seven years, and the wines enjoy a loyal following across the country. The evening at One Ballsbridge begins with bubbles, Navajas Blanco and Rosado on arrival. Leyre then takes us through a three-course dinner, tasting through the Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva.
We’ll finish with the 100 Year Anniversary wine, bottled to celebrate the winery’s centenary and named after founder Antonio Navajas. Tickets are €120 per person, and the evening runs from 7.00pm until around 10.30pm.
Wineonline.ie are delighted to welcome Master of Wine and acclaimed winemaker Fergal Tynan for a very special evening at One Ballsbridge. With more than 30 years in the wine trade and his MW since 2005, Fergal has built a reputation for seeking out exceptional vineyards and making wines with a true sense of place.
Rather than focusing on one winery, this dinner explores Fergal’s own world of winemaking. It takes in the elegant Grenache of Thistledown Wines in South Australia and the old vines of Terres Fidèles in the Roussillon. It also includes the fresh, contemporary wines of deAlto Rioja y Más from Rioja, Navarra and La Mancha.
Each of the three courses is matched to a selection of his wines, alongside stories from his career and the people and places behind each bottle. Tickets are €120 per person, and the evening runs from 7.00pm until around 10.30pm.
