Our Wineries
Since 1999 we have been importing wines and spirits from smaller wineries, building relationships with, and supporting these lesser known producers. They are some of the best value wines we have because we bring them direct from the vineyard to you.
Do you know your Chianti from your Bordeaux, or your Albarino from your Picpoul di Pinet? Maybe you’d like to explore, move away from the familiar and learn a little more about wine along the way? Then our Club is for you! Our tiers are totally flexible, so the power is in your hands!
We’d love you to join us.

We are delighted to announce that Abigail Buckenham, winemaker of Wildeberg winery in South Africa, will join us in Dublin to host an exclusive Winemaker Dinner, the sixth in The Winemaker Dinner series so far in 2026.
Having won overall Winery of the Year in South Africa two years in a row, Abigail is in huge demand right now. Wildeberg wines are receiving huge accolades as some of the best wines being produced in South Africa right now. His Coterie Semillon Sauvignon Bordeaux Blend white wine won Best Overall White Wine in South Africa.
The rest of the range scored highly too, with his Coterie wines all scoring over 94 points, proving them to be some of the best being produced from this part of the world right now.
We hosted a dinner with these wines three years ago and while much has changed, the wines have gotten better and we are really excited for you to taste the full range of wines, with Abigail herself on Friday September 25th.
Wildeberg was only founded in 2017 and has been a driving force in changing the perception of South African wines in Ireland. There were over 550 other wineries entered into the awards that they have now won twice. Abigail will present 7 of her wines over a three course dinner in the heart of Dublin 4 over a three course meal that will delight and excite the senses.
Abigail Buckenham has spearheaded the winery’s Rhône-style and minimal-intervention winemaking approach, focusing on expressing terroir and vineyard character through gentle handling and natural fermentation techniques. She speaks about the importance of soil diversity, biodiversity, and maintaining a savoury, restrained wine style rather than producing heavily fruit-driven wines. Her work contributes to Wildeberg’s reputation for elegant, site-expressive wines from Franschhoek and other Western Cape vineyards.
Wildeberg itself is known for sustainable viticulture, old-vine projects, and low-intervention cellar practices, with Abigail forming part of a newer generation of South African winemakers emphasizing authenticity and regional identity
You can expect to taste wines from the ‘Terroirs’ range – 100% Chardonnay, 100% Chenin Blanc and 100% Sauvignon while you will also taste wines from the ‘Coterie’ range that have scored highly. These wines are blends made in a more refined and French style, where JD has blended complimenting grape varieties together.

The Rioja Wine Festival by WineOnline.ie will take place at The Alex Hotel, Dublin 2 on Saturday 17th October 2026.
WineOnline.ie are delighted to be celebrating the broad choice, premium quality, and versatile grapes at the ultimate wine experience for Rioja Lovers this October. This year’s festival will mark the 5th year running of The Rioja Wine Festival and it will take place at The Alex Hotel, Fenian Street, Off Merrion Square, Dublin 2 on Saturday 17th October 2026.
Ireland loves Rioja. The wines produced there are approachable, accessible, consistent and delicious. Many of them are produced in the traditional style, with fruit and oak playing key roles in the flavour profile. However, there is an increasing move away from this traditional style by smaller producers who are ageing their wines for less time, emphasizing fruit instead of oak. Then we have Single Vineyard classified wines, which are being produced since the 2018 vintage. These are wines made from a single plot, with a lower yield than traditional Rioja wines, thus producing higher quality. We want you to come and explore the changing world of Rioja wines this October. You will be immersed in the culture, the wine, the tastes and flavours of Spain’s most famous wine producing region.
The event will be run over two sessions in order to provide an opportunity for ticket holders to taste as many wines as possible. Each session will last for 3 hours with ample time to attend a 45 minute Masterclass, as well as tasting through all of the wines on show. Sessions will run from 1.30pm-4.30pm and 6pm – 9pm.
**Winemaker Masterclass host to be announced soon**
Tickets purchased for Masterclasses will include General access to tasting over 150 wines as well as the Masterclass you have chosen.
