When you buy wine it's likely that it passses through Will's hands first. He looks after the sales, marketing and new brilliant areas for us to sell our wine. 

Gerry Fitzsimons

Spends most of his time tracking down great new wines for WineOnline. He's out and about and always looking for the next great bottle.

Ian Mullin

He Writes all the food recipes on Will's blog every month and looks after all the food and wine matches on the website. Anything on Food and wine is an area of authority for Ian - at least he thinks so, and he's too big to disagree with!

About Us

We started off 14 years ago as the first company in Ireland to sell wine over the internet. Since then lots has changed. But what we’re about hasn’t. We’re an Irish owned family-run business, we’re crazy about wine and we spend a lot of time seeking out exceptional wines from vineyards around the world in order to bring them to your doorstep. By cutting out the middle man we offer great value, whilst offering unique wines you can’t get elsewhere. Between the team we have a wide range of experience and qualifications, but we think our greatest strength is that we are driven by our love of wine.

How it all began

Anne and Gerry met whilst studying wine. And they really know their stuff. Both were founding members of the infamous Premier Cru wine club in Dublin. Both have Diploma’s from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in London. And both are members of the Irish Guild of Sommeliers. They decided to put all of that wine expertise to good use and set up WineOnline.ie.
