Responsible to: Senior Warehouse Operative and Director of Sales
Works with: Company Directors, Head of Operations, Warehouse team as well as additional support staff for peak season.
Contract Term: 6 month contract (initially) 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexibility for additional hours during November / December)
An exciting opportunity to join a growing family wine business. This role will be responsible for picking and packing daily online orders in our warehouse and will work with the warehouse team to maintain efficient stock management.
Core Job Requirements
Picking and packing of daily customer orders for dispatch
Responsible for communicating stock levels and required stock (for selected regular stock items) to Office team to ensure correct levels are maintained.
Work with the team on quarterly stocktake
Work with the warehouse team to maintain a tidy, orderly and organised work space throughout the warehouse for all WineOnline areas
Work with the warehouse team to identify, implement and develop warehouse systems to drive efficiency in conjunction with the Management team.

A good level of fitness would be desirable as this a physically demanding role
An interest in wine / spirits would be beneficial
Experience working as a Warehouse Operative or as part of a warehouse team would be a bonus
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Experience working in the food / wine / spirits industry desirable but not essential
Skills and Abilities
Drivers license beneficial
Forklift license would be a great advantage
Proficient in MS Excel & Outlook
Minimum second level education qualification required
