Made only in the best vintages, the Tenuta San Leonardo blend has remained the same since 1982; Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Carmenère (30%) and Merlot (10%).  Each variety is vinified separately, keeping its character unchanged, and the final blend is put together prior to bottling after 24 months in French oak barriques.
San Leonardo first received a “Tre Bicchieri” award in 1993 for its 1988 vintage release, and has since been awarded 24 Tre Bicchieri.

After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and richness, which is evident in distinct church windows at the rim of the glass. The aroma of this red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige is determined by notes of a wide variety of red and black berries and dark fruits such as heart cherries and plums. The Tenuta San Leonardo San Leonardo Trentino presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the San Leonardo Trentino is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this mature red wine from the wine-growing region Trentino-Alto Adige captivates finally with extraordinary reverberation.

This powerful red wine from Italy is cuvetiert from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Merlot. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation .
