Three Ravishing Riojas

The Sweet Spice, Vanilla and savoury flavours of Rioja are wonderful. These are soft luxurious wines, with a lovely brambly nose and hints of spice. Nuances of warm leather, caramel and coffee are common of all three wines. Expect big flavours with each wine having spent a different amount of time in in oak casks under ground ageing in the cellars of Rioja. Bodegas Navajas is a  family winery that was founded in 1918 as Bodegas Arjona, but in 1983 the Navajas family became the sole shareholders and changed its name to Bodegas Navajas.

A classic Rioja revisited, this is a modern fruit-driven style married with an unmistakably traditional vanilla and savoury character. 100% Tempranillo and aged in French & American Barrels for 24 months, it displays deep red berried fruit, well integrated oak and a touch of spice all wrapped up in velvety tannins. It cries for Grilled Lamb chops or chorizo and pork belly casserole. If you love outstanding Rioja Reserva wines, you will adore this!

Bright cherry red in colour, the nose is full of ripe red berries and a touch of spice. The palate is dry and soft with juicy fruit, gentle tannins and fine balancing acidity.
