Pickering’s Gin is based on an original Bombay recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947. Kept as a family secret for over 66 years, it only resurfaced in 2013 when it began distilling at Summerhall Distillery - the first exclusive gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh for over 150 years.
This Navy Strength edition was launched for Pickering's 7th Batch, to celebrate the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo – the bottles are adorned with a bearskin helmet similar to those worn by guards in their ceremonial military uniform
Tasting Notes clean and powerful. Initial juniper and aromatic spice flavours lead to a delicious sweetness.
Perfect Serve Fever-Tree Indian tonic with a slice of lime, alternatively it's strength and sweetness make for a great cocktail gin.
