From Australia, WolfBlass Presidents Selection Cabernet Sauvignon won a silver medal at the International Wine Challenge. The winery also took home 17 Double Gold Medals, 12 Gold Medals and 3 Silver, all at one wine show. From New Zealand 2 of the top Sauvignon Blancs from Hunters and Lawson Dry Hills. A New World selection would be incomplete without the 'Best Pinot Noir in the NZ Wine Awards' - Pencarrow Pinot Noir from Martinborough won this award and the wine is sublime. Lastly, Dublin man Edwin sold his last few cases of Chateau Petrus, so he could fill his new winery with tanks to ferment wine on his farm in South Africa.
