Description:

An extremely rare collaboration between David Llewellyn winemaker and JP McMahon, one of Irelands best loved chefs, known for championing Irish produce. The bottling run was simply 1000 bottles, and WineOnline.ie are delighted to be the only retailer excluysively selling this wine, in the world. Limited to just 6 bottles per customer, it is the very first collaboration David Lllewellyn has done since he launched Lusca. 
A vibrant amber coloured sparkling wine bursting with aromas of fresh black cherry, wild strawberry, and ripe raspberry. The nose is lifted by delicate floral hints and a touch of redcurrant, leading to a lively palate with crisp natural acidity and fine, persistent bubbles. Juicy red berry flavours are balanced by subtle mineral notes and a refreshing, dry finish. Elegant, bright, and expressive, this sparkling wine showcases the purity and freshness that cool-climate fruit delivers, making it an ideal aperitif or companion to light canapés, fresh berries, and soft cheeses.

The wine is single vintage 2023. 50% Rondo, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% each Cabernet Franc and Shiraz. 
Has aged in tank  before bottling, where it went through a slow malolactic fermentation.
This first charge has been just 4 months on lees before disgorging, but later charges will spend progressively longer on lees before disgorging....

The wine is Brut dry, but soft, and we felt it was perfect as Brut Zero, with no dosage....
