The commune of Savigny les Beaune is located above between Aloxe Corton and Pernand Vergelesses, in the north of the Côte de Beaune.
Savigny produces exclusively red wines (90%) under the village and premier cru appellations.
The vineyard has south, south-east, east and north-east exposure and is situated between 220 and 360m. The chalk soil is gravely or stony, light and infertile.
A bright cherry red intensity, with pronounced aromas of freshly crushed strawberries and Morello cherries. A firm tannic structure, this is a medium bodied wine with a generous plump ripe fruit character and a fine length.
