Tasting notes: The 2011 Hermitage La Chapelle continues to shine. It has a gorgeously intense aroma of plum and spice. It is full and powerful, with chewy tannins and a long finish. It is full-bodied with plenty of sweet fruit flavours, blackberry with spice and meaty tones. This wine is delicious and will last for another twenty years.
Food matching: Enjoy with a wild mushroom omelette, beef fillets, veal stew, or with a dessert of chocolate and cherry cake.
