Hennessy Paradis Cognac
Founded in 1765 by Irish military officer Richard Hennessy and his eldest son James, Hennessy is one of the world's leading cognac producers. For more than 250 years, Hennessy has been producing its cognacs in the heart of its native Charente region. Taking a responsible commitment to the protection of its terroir, Hennessy shines a light.
The Hennessy family has entrusted the tasting of its cognacs to the Fillioux family, generations-old Master Blenders. This lineage has been carried forward for two centuries now. Renaud Fillioux from Gironde represents the eighth generation in charge of blending.
The House of Hennessy stands out for its expertise, its uniqueness and the excellence of its know-how, which is reflected in the cuvées that are recognised worldwide for their exceptional quality.
The vineyard
Between 2020 and 2021, the 40 hectares of the Maison's vineyards were the subject of a vast agroforestry programme. Shrubby hedges and isolated trees were planted, creating ecological corridors between biodiverse areas. Currently, more than 5,000 trees of 30 different species and more than 4 kilometres of hedges surround these Cognac vineyards.
The wine
Recognised for its velvety and harmonious scent, Paradis cognac is made from a blend of eaux-de-vie aged exclusively in very old casks, giving this cuvée its amber gold colour.
Created by Maurice Fillioux in 1979, Paradis cognac is presented in an elegant box containing a luxury decanter. The decanter is a variation of the emblematic Hennessy X.O., expressing the roundness of this blend. Its design, pure and elegant, was conceived by the Italian artist Ferrucio Laviani.

Tasting
Nose
The nose gives floral notes of dried rose and honeysuckle mingled with red fruit and spice scents.
Palate
The palate allures with its elegant and silky texture. It has honey, dried flowers, truffle and spice notes which combine with those of cinnamon, cardamom and fruit to blend with dried rose petals and heather jam scents. The finish is powerful and enduring.
