Green Spot 10 Year Old (100 Year Anniversary Edition)

The Green Spot 10-Year-Old Anniversary Edition celebrates a century of whiskey excellence. The “Spot” range was born from Mitchell & Sons’ practice of marking casks with coloured paint to indicate age- green for a 10-year-old, with Green Spot first advertised in 1925. This tradition is now honoured with a bespoke anniversary liquid crafted as a nod to that original 10-year-old age statement.

Tasting Note

Nose: Opens with decadent aromas of floral honey, coffee cake, and toffee, layered with autumnal fruits, sweet pear, blackberry, apple, and lifted by herbal notes of lemon verbena and mint. Light dustings of nutmeg add warmth and complexity. Taste: A blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, dried fruits, and dessert-like flavours of apple crumble are layered over warming cereal notes of barley. Finish: A rich and lasting finish, with pot still spices and orchard fruits gently lingering to the end.
