92-94/100 Points - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent
"The 2022 Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc features baked apples, poached pears, and toasted almonds scents with touches of lime leaves and baking bread. The medium-bodied palate delivers great intensity of spicy apple and savoury flavours, supported by a crisp backbone, finishing long and spicy."
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: pale yellow with golden highlights, clear and bright.
Nose: fine, vibrant and expressive, with citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit), pear, white flowers and ripe tropical notes, complemented by mineral nuances and a hint of amber.
Palate: broad, elegant and perfectly structured. The attack is crisp and pure, followed by a generous, crystalline mid-palate, supported by refreshing acidity. The finish is long, saline and persistent, with confit citrus and warm stone notes.
Food Pairings: Beautiful with oysters and shellfish, fine fish in sauce, crustaceans, creamy poultry dishes or aged cheeses.
