Les Baudes is situated just beneath the « Bonnes Mares Grand Cru » vineyard, near the Morey Saint-Denis village
The grapes bear small little dark red berries. The bunches are destemmed; they macerate in open vats during 4 weeks helping this subtle terroir to reveal itself. After devatting, the wines are aged in oak barrels during 18 months.
The wine has a harmonious aroma with notes of red fruits, spices and nuances of autumn foliage.
The taste of wine a rich, luxurious, with fruity notes, balanced acidity and minerality, excellent tannins and a long finish.
Food Matches: The wine goes well with mushrooms, cheese, poultry and meat.
