Almonacid de la Sierra, in Aragón’s Cariñena region, has crafted wine since Roman times and is the home of Garnacha. Its limestone soils, cool Cierzo wind, and wide temperature swings give Garnacha freshness and balance. Garnacha is now grown in many regions from across Spain, to Southern France and Sardinia. But the holistic home for the variety is in Aragón. Today, organic vineyards combine heritage with sustainability, producing pure, vibrant wines — the perfect home for BOTA BOTA Organic Garnacha Blanca & Macabeo.

Cariñena is a special place for growing grapes which produce beautifully fresh, pure, and delicious organic wines. This Garnacha comes from old vines, all dry-farmed on widely-spaced bush vines whose long roots dig deep into the soil, picking up essential minerals and nutrients.

Hand-harvested organic grapes picked and cooled before fermentation to preserve the essential lifted aromas of these varieties. Stainless steel tank fermentation for freshness with 6 months of lees stirring to enhance the beautiful textural quality of the wine.
