XIII Lunas is made with Garnacha (63%) and Tempranillo (37%) grapes from vineyards planted in the Najerilla Valley, in the Rioja Alta subzone, and its origin unmistakably influences its character. It's a modern Rioja, with energy, body, and structure, yet with a classic soul—very appealing, easy to drink, and elegant. The nod to nature is also present in its name: thirteen moons, the thirteen revolutions of the Moon around the Earth, the thirteen lunar cycles that correspond to the twelve months of aging in barrels.

Tasting Notes:
Bright ruby red with vermilion reflections. Enveloping and deep aromas of barrel ageing perfectly blend with the fresh aromas of red fruits typical of Garnacha and Tempranillo grapes. In the mouth it is fresh, harmonious, silky, with delicate and elegant tannins. Aromas in the mouth are marked, reflecting those felt in the nose. A pleasant and nice wine, with a modern style.
