The grapes for this Merlot were handpicked. The grapes remained with the skins for 6 days at 2å¡C cold maceration before the fermentation. The alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at 24å¼-25å¼C. Malolactic fermentation took place naturally in tanks and in barrels. 30% of the wine remained in French and American oak barrels for 6 months..
Ageing Potential: 1-3 Years
Gorgeous, deep purple colour packed with ripe, plummy, fruit flavours. Soft and voluptuous with warm layers of fruit and smooth chocolate backed by supple tannins all add up to a very drinkable wine. Well made style with a full round finish. Great value.
