A favourite of Irish Times Wine Journalist John Wilson 'known to many as the poor mans 'Grange', but that is an insult to St. Henri, made from the same grapes as Grange but aged in large oak vats. A wine of incredible depth & power that lingers on forever''.
Ageing Potential: 10-15 Years
Ultra smooth complex palate showing figs, liquorice, coffee & ripe spicey damson fruits. The tannins are quite assertive but the balance is impeccable. Would benefit from decanting.
