Chateau Fleur Cravignac Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2018
Bordeaux, France
Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon/ Cabernet Franc
1 x 75cl Bottles
This is a family property located on the northwest side, one kilometre from the small medieval city of Saint-Emilion. It covers an Just under eight hectares of vines grown on clay and limestone soils characteristic of Saint-Emilion. Its vineyards are composed 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Some of the parcels consist of clayey limestone, others of gravelly sand, and being able to play with these two different 'ingredients' means that the resulting wine has an impressive level of complexity.
The dominance of the Merlot in this blend is very apparent in the nose of the wine, which shows lush cherry notes. In the mouth, the wine is smooth and elegant, with the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc bringing structure.
Giant Steps Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley, Australia,
1 x 75cl Bottles
Steve Flamsteed and the hyper-talented crew at Giant Steps are the undisputed masters of cool-climate Yarra Valley fruit - together they’ve rustled up some Yarra Valley classics over the years, but we reckon they’ve outdone themselves with these latest, 2021 vintage releases.
This is it. If you only drink one Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley this year, make darn sure it’s the Giant Steps’ 2021 expression. Take it from Philip Rich, who looks after the region for the Halliday Wine Companion who called it ‘the perfect introduction to modern Yarra Valley Pinot.
Bodegas Navajas Gran Reserva Rioja
Bodegas Valdemar
Tempranillo Spain

A real Rioja gem - this is a single estate and 100% family owned. The wine is voluptuous and richly fruity with oodles of berry characters and a gentle oakiness in the background. It is from the 2011 vintage and the winery only release wines as they are ready to drink. It is beautiful - silky smooth and wonderfully fresh.
