Ruffino Tuscan Wine Dinner | Tuesday 12th May 2026
We are thrilled to announce an exclusive dinner with Olga Fusari, head winemaker of Ruffino Estates in Tuscany. Olga was previously the head WineMaker at Ornellaia for 18 years in Bolgheri. She is a specialist in Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes.
Olga Fusari‘s first experience in the vineyard was as a harvest intern at Ornellaia in Bolgheri, a job she took while finishing her degree at the University of Florence. From there, she spent time at Tenuta di Capezzana in Carmignano before returning to Ornellaia in 2008, gaining expertise in Bordeaux-style blends and becoming chief winemaker in 2016, also serving on the Bolgheri DOC tasting commission. In 2016, she also did a placement at Bodega Rolland in Argentina. Two years later, she earned a master’s degree in vineyard and winery management from Bordeaux Sciences Agro. In 2025, she gained additional harvest experience at Selaks Winery in New Zealand. She joined Ruffino in October 2023 and is responsible for the fine wines produced in Bolgheri, especially new release Garzaia Bolgheri Superiore DOC, at Tenuta Poggio Casciano in the hills near Florence and Tenuta La Solatia in Monteriggioni.
Join us on Tuesday 12th May at Nove, where we will be joined by Olga Fusari herself, & Lidia Ceseri, Brand Ambassador from Ruffino Tuscany, for an evening learning about the wines and winemaking, along with exceptional food, and extraordinary wines. We are proud to partner with Michelin-starred chef Oliver Dunne, who will create a bespoke four-course menu to pair with Ruffino’s finest expressions in his new restaurant, Nove in Malahide.
Ruffino was founded in 1877 in the hills of Tuscany, and ever since, it has played a central role in shaping the global reputation of Chianti and Super Tuscan wines. Known for pioneering the Riserva Ducale, Ruffino has become synonymous with heritage, elegance, and innovation. This dinner celebrates not only their legacy, including the legendary Riserva Ducale Oro, which has become one of the most celebrated wines in Chianti Classico, but also their exciting new chapter, including their stunning white wines and bold, modern Super Tuscans like Modus.
You’ll enjoy an exclusive tasting at least six Ruffino wines, including:
-
Ruffino Riserva Ducale Oro 2021 – A gold-medal-winning Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, full of intensity and character
