Fantini / Farnese produces this delicious rosé sparkling wine from Aglianico grapes from Basilicata in southern Italy, which grows around the town of Acerenza. These are harvested exclusively by hand in order to meet the high quality standards of this winery. The result is a lively and aromatic sparkling wine, which has the typical fruitiness of the wines of this winery (by the way, multiple winery of the year in Italy according to wine journalist Luca Maroni).

Tasting note

The aromas of the Gran Cuvée Rosé are reminiscent of cherries, red currants and strawberries. The soft taste of this sparkling wine is very engaging, the finish is long and well balanced. In addition to the traditional use of a sparkling wine as an aperitif, the Fantini Gran Cuvee Rosé Spumante can also be recommended as an accompaniment to food. Antipasti, fish and dishes with an Asian influence go very well here.
