Lawson Dry Hills Black Label Reserve Pinot Noir Single Bottle
Country: New Zealand Region: Marlborough
Varietal: Pinot Noir
Vintage: 2019/20 Colour: Red Style: Dry
Producer: Lawson Dry Hills
Description:
Sourced from the Barnsley and Lawson's vineyards in Marlborough's Waihopai Valley. This wine displays a beautiful deep colour and a wonderfully floral nose.
BEST VALUE - There's lots of attractive cherry fruit here, a savoury hint of dark chocolate and toasty oak. A lively edge and a crisp finish.
Tasting Note:
The nose is intensely penetrating and tightly packed with primary aromas of ripe dark berry fruits - black cherries, spicy oak and fragrance of violets, nuances of liquorice and plums. Medium-bodied and elegantly proportioned, the flavours of dark berry fruits and black cherries are concentrated. This wine has the firmness of youth with emerging oak carrying through to a long and sustained finish with spicy black cherry flavours. A youthful Pinot Noir with intense black fruits and raciness.
