As you can imagine, a wine that wins this award, is instantly launched into the stratosphere. Demand instantly surges and the wines dissipate instantly. I always try to get stocks of wines them and most of the time any stocks I source come in from Europe. TheTorres GranMurallesbelow, won the best in show medal last year, and again this year, which is phenomenal given the tastings are blind, and it rose to the top 5 out of 17,000 wines, not once, but two years in a row!! The2014 VintageGranMuralleswon the Best in Show. The following year, the 2016 vintage won the same accolade, Best in Show. In 2021, the 2017 won the same award, yet again. We currently have stock of the 2014 and the 2016, the two top winning wines.
In some countries, the price has doubled on this wine in the last week alone.
