Description:
With its vineyard gravel slopes facing the river, Chateau Beau-Site certainly deserves its name. And like the Medoc rule states: The best vineyards in Saint-Estephe are facing the river.
One of the oldest Estate in Saint-Estephe, Beau-Site produces very elegant wines. This is the result of some large investments during the last decade. The vat room is all stainless-steel, temperature controlled, and the Chateau has been fully renovated.
Tasting Note:
Savoury nose, a bit gamey and lacks some freshness. Rich, with rather furry tannins, concentrated, assertive and a bit extracted and effortful. Quite good length but there’s some astringency on the finish
Food Matches: Casseroles / Lamb / Game / Venison
