S.B.S stands for Single Barrel Selection. As the name suggests, only one barrel is bottled for each product in this product line from 1423 World Class Spirits. Each barrel is selected for the respective bottling under special criteria and offered with a limited number of bottles. The entire S.B.S line includes only classic rums, no blends, to express the versatility of rums as well as their unique quality and exquisite taste.

Description

Single Barrel Selection Belize 2011 is a single cask rum which is based on molasses and was distilled in a Column still in 2011. The rum has matured in ex-Bourbon & Cognac casks and is bottled at 52% abv. in August 2024. From Travellers distillery in Belize comes this 13 year old beauty, 12 years in the tropics followed by a further 1 year in a cognac barrel in Denmark. The rum is non-chill filtered. S.B.S Belize 2011 is limited to 499 bottles only.

Nose:
A luxurious mix of coconut, creamy vanilla, and hints of aromatic tobacco, intertwined with the richness of caramelized brown sugar and oak.

Palate:
Velvety layers of vanilla and caramel, accented by the warmth of chocolate and the boldness of coffee and spices.
