This is the most unconventional winery within Zamora Company. Launched in the 2003 vintage, Cruz de Alba is a single-vineyard project (the only exception was Lucero de Alba, a red made with grapes sourced from local winegrowers between 2009 and 2014) based on Finca Los Hoyales, a property that extends over 40 hectares in Padilla de Duero, on Ribera del Duero’s “Golden Mile”.

Coming from the sandiest area of Finca Los Hoyales vineyard, Cruz de Alba Reserva is an elegant and silky Tempranillo red wine. Balanced and complex, it represents the essence of a new style in Ribera del Duero.

Tasting Note:
Elegant and powerful nose, with ripe sensations, spicy and balsamic, noble and integrated wood. In mouth it is tasty, with balanced acidity that integrates with subtlety, good structure and meatiness, elegant, silky tannins, memories of the barrel, leaving a long and tasty end.
