S.B.S stands for Single Barrel Selection. As the name suggests, only one barrel is bottled for each product in this product line from 1423 World Class Spirits. Each barrel is selected for the respective bottling under special criteria and offered with a limited number of bottles. The entire S.B.S line includes only classic rums, no blends, to express the versatility of rums as well as their unique quality and exquisite taste.

Description
Single Barrel Selection Venezuela 2009 is a single cask rum which is based on molasses and was distilled in a column still in 2009. The rum has matured in an ex-Bourbon cask and is bottled at 54,9% abv. in August 2023. The rum is non-chill filtered and no additives have been used. S.B.S Venezuela 2009 is limited to just 283 bottles globally.

Nose: Subtle spiciness harmonizes with the warmth of bourbon vanilla, while delicate dry undertones contribute to the overall profile.

Palate: An initial burst of spiciness leads to the comforting touch of brown sugar, followed by a satisfyingly dry finish.
