Description:
Nikka Coffey Malt is an unconventional and characterful whisky, made entirely from malted barley but distilled in Coffey stills. The result is a spirit of remarkable depth and texture, with aromas of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, baking spice, and ripe fruit.

On the palate, it is bold and structured, delivering malt richness alongside caramelised sweetness and gentle oak influence. The distinctive Coffey still character brings weight and intensity without sacrificing balance, making this a compelling and expressive whisky for seasoned enthusiasts.

Made using barley that is distilled in a Coffey (continuous) still, giving the whisky a rich flavour and surprisingly soft texture. As always, an excellent value whisky from this highly reputable Japanese distiller. A little taste of Ireland in these malts too, as Aeneas Coffey, designer of the column still, was born to Irish parents, and resided in Ireland for much of his life.
