The Rum-Bar brand Worthy Park pays tribute to the traditional rum bars that are spread across the communities on the island of Jamaica. These tiny watering holes dotting the roadsides provide relief from the sun and a gathering place for locals. Most rum bars keep it simple, serving up white overproof rum with “chasers” of fresh juice or sodas. Rum-Bar rums offer big flavors of Jamaican rum, striking a balance between Jamaican “funk” resulting from the use of pot-stills and fruit-forward flavors that translate into amazing cocktails.

Welcome to White Overproof Rum! In Jamaica, white overproof rum accounts for around 90% of all rum sales. A blend of three unaged 100% pot still Jamaican rums, this release from Worthy Park Estate is bottled at a beefy 63% ABV, and while you can sip this neat or on the rocks, it's in long drinks and cocktails that this famous Jamaican export really sings.
Nose: The nose is quite strong from the moment you open the bottle, bringing forth the traditional Jamaican “funk” of overripe bananas. In time, crisp apple notes and just a hint of leather appear through the ethanol vapors.
Palate: Dry, bracing, and very fruit-forward, turning grassy toward the end.
Finish: Ripe fruit lingers long on the palate with underlying vegetal notes.
