Domaine de Vedilhan, Languedoc, France

Representatives of the 7th generation of the family, Bruno and Henry Fayet are passionate about viticulture.
In April 2024, this estate will be 200 years old. At the time it was 63 ha. Antoine Fayet, a visionary, was the owner. It was his ancestors living in Béziers who were “ bosses on the canal  and specialized in the brandy trade. Son Gabriel had the cellar built and perfected the construction of rails from the cellar to the canal to allow transportation by river. 200 years later, Bruno and Henry have followed his path and are innovating, drawing inspiration from new technologies with 2 pneumatic presses, concrete vats covered with Epoxy, stainless steel vats installed in 2021 and wooden barrels from 225 to 500 liters. The winegrowers produced 17,000 hectoliters last year, on 180 ha in production.
Bruno and Henry have 7 permanent staff on the estate," The label is a tribute to our great-great-grandfather the artist Gustave Fayet. We selected a few plates of his works made on the Mireille by Frédéric Mistral and we affixed them to our bottles .
