Of all of the Manzanilla wines which are available on the market, this southern gem undergoes one of the longest ageing processes. This wine’s incredible nuances are the result of its many years ageing under a velum of flor yeast.

For over six generations the Barbadillo family has been producing its Solear Manzanilla, a wine that is characterised by its elegance, finesse and character. The many years ageing under a velum of flor years make this wine truly unique. 

Tasting Note:

Appearance: Pale yellow in colour with beautiful reflections, very bright and intense.

 Nose: Honest on the nose, with the intensity and finesse resulting from its prolonged ageing under a velum of flor yeast, with saline and iodine nuances.

Palate: Extraordinarily dry on the palate but with a smooth and harmonious after-taste, boasting subtle and saline nuances with a very persistent flavour.
