Bodegas Navajas Rioja Crianza
Haro, Rioja, Spain
1 x 75cl bottle
A small family owned winery in the heart of Rioja. Alberto and Rosa run the winery. Their son Roberto is the winemakerwhile Merche their daughter heads up the exports department. The wines are sublime.
'A light hand with the oak allows the ripe, rounded dark cherry fruits to shine through. A very stylish elegant Rioja. Perfect with grilled lamb or pork chops' John Wilson, Irish Times, May 2nd, 2020

Craggy Range Te Muna Pinot Noir
Martinborough, New Zealand
1 x 75cl bottle
Martinborough Pinot Noirs are different to Marlborough ones. The vineyards are cocooned with a sea breeze which cools them quicker in the evenings and so the grapes take three weeks longer on average to ripen than their Marlborough cousins. The result, is a more complex wine, with greater details and finesse, more weight, structure, body and tannin. Sublime. No surprise then that this case made it into this case. It won a best in show medal at the Decanter Asia wine show.
A Richer style of Pinot with seductive lush dark cherry fruits, hints of spice and very good length. This has real depth. John Wilson, The Irish Times.

Bodegas Colome Estate Malbec
Salta, Argentina
1 x 75cl bottle
Tim Atkin issued a Special Report on Argentina Malbec
He 94 Points Awarded to this wine stating:
The brilliant estate blend comes from four different sources, but is dominated by fruit from the Colomé property itself. Sappy, dense and lightly oaked, this shows the wonderful wildness of the terroir, with notes of lavender and oregano and layers of dark berry fruit, spice and sinewy tannins.
