Description:
Château Magnol's history goes back to 1842 when Monsieur Delisse, an experienced agronomist, consolidated the vineyards surrounding the former Château du Dehez. In 1969 the vineyards were purchased by Barton & Guestier who undertook major investments in the vineyards and cellars. The efforts were crowned with success in 1979 when the wine was classified "Cru Bourgeois".
Tasting Notes
The merlot displays flavours of redcurrent, while the Cabernet Sauvignon shows off more blackcurrent notes. This is a full bodied wine with lovely silky tannins and a long spicy finish. With age this wine will develop more maturity characteristics and lovely toasty oak flavours.
