This is the top Cava made by Bodegas Avinyo. It is only made in truly exceptional years and is only made in tiny quantities. It was aged in the bottle for 6 years before being released which gives this wine a complexity way beyond its price tag. The vineyard was planted in 1940 so the vines are over 80 years old. If you are looking for a quality comparison for this cava I would be putting it up against any high quality vintage Champagne. Its that good !

Tasting Note:
Clean and bright colour with golden tones, fine bubbles and abundant crown, tertiary aromas typical of long ageing on the nose, complex on the palate with a long and pleasant finish.
