Redoma tinto is Niepoort’s original Douro wine, first released in 1991. It is like Douro: "extreme, with a rigorous character". Old north-facing vineyards from Quinta de Nápoles and Pinhão Valley form the basis of Redoma. 

The Redoma Tinto is a Niepoort classic which reflects the elegance, structure, and acidity that only a region as diverse as the Douro Valley can express.

Tasting Notes: The colour is ruby-red. concentrated with violet hues. The nose is delicate and complex. It starts off with floral, cherry and ruibarb notes to after swirling reveal hints of tobacco, graphite and spices. On the palate it is structured, round and precise. The balanced acidity promises longevity and the finish is long and piquant.
