Domaine de Nizas Syrah

This top-shelf wine from Domaine de Nizas is a true gem, crafted from 30 year old vines on a terroir of clay, basalt, and limestone. It’s a quintessentially French blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, celebrated for its Côtes du Rhone heritage, originating from the Languedoc region in the sunny South of France. This wine beautifully captures the diverse soils of the vineyard, with Syrah (60%) flourishing on the volcanic soil of Nizas, elegantly complemented by other terroirs and grape varieties (20% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre). 

Tasting Note:
Dark, deep and brilliant colour, enriched with purple reflections. The nose is powerful and complex. Notes of wild blackberries, blackcurrant liqueur and black pepper.
