With its high proportion of Merlot from the Left Bank, it's now ready to drink and makes an excellent accompaniment to dishes such as braised roast, rump steak, or hard cheese. We therefore took the opportunity to purchase a few cases of the unique 2018 vintage.
Extreme purple garnet with a violet rim. Fragrant wild berries, followed by lilac notes, licorice, Tasmanian peppercorn, and black currants. A tight tannin structure and finely grained astringency on the mid-palate. The aromatic finish offers plenty of minerality and elderberry essence.
