Bodegas Riojanas arrived in Vadocondes , a valley located at an altitude of 900 metres in the province of Burgos, from its consolidated base in Rioja Alta . There, it launched its first Alacer wines in 2022.Now, after carefully selecting the ideal plots of land, they present the Alma Alacer wine. 

It has been developed after an exhaustive study of the terrain and the selection of the appropriate plots . Los Hoyos and Los Hontanillas have been chosen for their natural ecosystem, their altitude, more than 900 meters , the clay-calcareous soils and the extreme climate that characterizes them. They are exclusive plots that help mitigate the effects of climate change and maintain the correct freshness and ripeness of the grapes. 

Tasting Notes:
This deep garnet coloured wine has aromas of roasted fennel bulb, cocoa powder and Mission fig. It opens with notes of anisette and mint leaf followed by black cherry,  plum, olive tapenade and marjoram framed by downy tannins that endure on the tongue and gums.

Food Matches: Perfect for stews, meats of all kinds, rice, pastas and legumes.
