Description:
For more than two decades, the Valdubón winery has been working on the production of its own wines with Ribera del Duero designation of Origin. The winery and its vineyards are located in the town of Milagros (Burgos), one of the southernmost areas of this denomination.
The quality of Valdubón Wines has stood out since its first production in 1997. This is thanks to the effort that has been put since the beginning both in the care of the vineyard and in the facilities of the winery, where all the processes of elaboration of the wines are carried out.
Bodegas Valdubón has an extension of 155 hectares of vineyards, of which half are their own land, while the rest belong to Associated Winegrowers. The work on the plots is characterized by the use of traditional methods respectful of the vineyard, which allows the grapes to retain the properties of the terroir and transmit them later to the wines.
Tasting Notes:
In appearance the wine is young, lively, deep in colour and intense, with deep Morello reds flashed through with bright violet. Aged for 4 months in oak, which gives nice depth of flavour. Silky texture, thanks to ripe, well-integrated tannins. Rich black cherry fruit and vanilla notes.
Food Matches: Perfect for stews, meats of all kinds, rice, pastas and legumes.
