Vieux Chateau Renaissance Bordeaux
Bordeaux, France
1 x 75cl Bottle

On the nose hints of wood, vanilla and dark berries. The nose is very tempting with fruit aromas of cassis, plums and blackberries. Rounded on the palate with elegant tannins that pave the way for a smooth, long-lasting finish. This almost purple wine has a special delicacy and elegance with a medium depth.

Chateau Haut Bessac Bordeaux Blanc
Entre-Deux-Mers, France
1 x 75cl Bottle
Sprawled over 120 ha of vineyards, forests and grasslands, this family estate is protected by nature evolving with respect for the terroir. Yves runs Goudichaud in the same spirit of respect for the traditions that followed before, now producing 5 labels of very great wine. Haut-Bessac, their first label, produces wines of finesse that are accessible to everyone. The blanc is a perfect blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, distinguishing itself with floral aromas and citrus fruit. It is an easy wine, crisp and voluptuous, a modern day Entre-Deux-Mers.

Bodegas Navajas Crianza
Rioja, Spain
1 x 75cl Bottle
A family winery that was founded in 1918 as Bodegas Arjona, Navajas believes that the quality of the wine begins in the vineyards and for this reason they monitor and control the vineyards which belong to their growers in the Rioja Alta and Rioja Baja. This smooth, plump Rioja wins pride of place as one of our members' favourite reds, vintage after vintage. We love its combination of vanilla-infused flavour from high-quality oak ageing and vibrant red-fruit notes.

Domaine De Montine - Secret de Terroir
Rhone, France
1 x 75cl Bottles
Grignan les Adhémar is the new name for Tricastin and Domaine de Montine is one of the best-known names here. A family business, just outside Grignan, this has well-placed vines and makes wine in all three colours. Why buy from here? The answer is freshness. This part of the Rhône is almost at an intermediary stage between north and south. The Syrah grape works well here as do all the whites, ripening without undue haste, and the wines are excellent quality and on the way up.

Tenute del Pojo Passerina
Terre di Chieti, Italy
1 x 75cl Bottle
Passerina is largely unknown. It is a fresh wine, with simple clean, elegant fruit with crisp minerality. If you like your Albarino, Chablis or Picpoul you will love this wine. It is a steal of a wine at the price point and will become one of your new favourites, as it has ours!

Castillo de Eneriz Reserva
Rioja, Spain
1 x 75cl Bottle
Rioja without the name and price tag, made by a master of Rioja! This wine balances oaky character with fruitiness and hints of spice with a finish as lengthy as you would expect from a classic reserva.
