Description:
Messer Del Fauno is an artisanal Italian farm in Puglia where the best local wines and olive oils are produced, covered in vineyards and olive groves and the typical willow trees that give the name to the wine. Beautifully crafted example of Salentino Salentino showing the smoke, plum, and herbs typical of the Negroamaro varietal of the DOC region. The grapes are vinified following the traditional method without the addition of concentrated must. Gorgeous when drunk young, but will develop into velvety softness with further ageing in the bottle.

Tasting Note:
Black plum, spice and maraschino cherries on the palate with aromas of violets and ripe, seductive tannins. A rich, dark red, perfect with pasta dishes and nearly any meat dishes.
