The Esporão Estate is one of the largest and oldest domains in the Alentejo region, lead by flying winemaker David Baverstock. The exceptional climatic conditions; good light, hot sun, humid Atlantic breezes from the Northwest and the unique xistous and volcanic soils, constitute the origins for the outstanding wines of Esporão. 

Ageing Potential: Drinking well now, or age 2-3 years

Tasting Note:  86 points in Wine Spectator Magazine; Clear deep ruby colour. Berry fruit aromas with some complex subtle toasty notes. Elegant palate with good depth of fruit and a fine tannic structure.
