When he was just ten years old Jesús Acha carried out his first harvest. And this was followed by 67 more. Until his death, Jesús knew how to love and cherish the vineyards of Cárdenas, his village in the Valle del Alto Najerilla of La Rioja. Today, all this love and affection comes across through Viñedos El Pacto and wines like El Pacto del Alto Najerilla.

Traditionally, this vineyard, located in La Rioja Alta, was a place where grapes were slow to ripen. Its 600 metres of altitude, with a mainly cool climate, made this difficult. However, climate change and the increase in average temperature have made this a thing of the past. So, what used to be almost impossible, has now become a selection of fresh white wines like El Pacto del Alto Najerilla.

Tasting Notes: 
very attractive and bright mineral white with a straw yellow colour. The nose is complex, with notes of hay, cream and pastries. Citrus fruits appear in the background. The palate is long, structured and full-bodied. Very fresh. . Really quite something. 

Food Matches: Enjoy with buttery roast chicken, mildly spiced dishes or even fish and chips.
