Description:

Produced by Domaine Rolet, the second largest estate in the Jura Wine Region, an estate founded in 1942 by Mr. Desire Rolet. Today, it remains a family-owned winery after being acquired by the Devillard family back in 2018.

The grapes are sourced from the plot "En Novalet" on a soil rich in grey marls and well-exposed slopes in the village of Planoiseau under the appellation of L'Étoilet, an apellation in the Jura wine region for white wines and vins jaunes only. Here, the chardonnay gives an elegant wine with a lot of character and ageing potential.

Tasting Note: On the nose, this Domaine Rolet - L'étoile Chardonnay "En Novalet" reveals aromas of dried fruit such as almonds, and notes of white flowers such as acacia. Elderberry and chamomile add a floral touch, while chalk and gunflint characterize the minerality of this wine.
