The family-run Worthy Park Estate was established in 1670, and started producing rum as early as 1741. Although it was a highly successful distillery, the glut of Jamaican rum after WW2 meant that it ceased production in the 1960s. It was completely rebuilt in 2004, and brought its flagship Rum-Bar Rum to market in 2007. Every step of rum production is handled in house, from sugar cane cultivation on more than 4,000 acres of land, to processing the molasses and piping them over a kilometre to be distilled. Worthy Park focusses on traditional Jamaican pot still rums and its popularity is growing day by day.

Distilled in a 100% Copper Pot Still, and aged tropically in once-used, American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels, and bottled at 50% ABV. It’s a limited bottling so get it while you can! You’ll find no sugar or other additives in the bottle, just pure Jamaican Rum.
Nose: Initial notes of banana and oak with brine, olives, citrus, vanilla and a smoky combo of tobacco and leather underlined with a mild sweet note.
Palate: The mild sweetness is there along with honey, banana, citrus, caramel and oak.
Finish: A long finish with notes of leather and tobacco.
