The history of Prosecco Valdo began in 1926, when a group of enterprising winemakers from Valdobbiadene decided to join forces creating the Società Anonima Vini Superiori: a company principally devoted to sparkling wine production of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze.
The great step forward in terms of quality started at the beginning of the twenties when the company was bought by the Bolla family from Verona and was renamed: Valdo Spumanti.
Sergio Bolla the father of Pierluigi, the current Chairman, focused on expanding sales both in Italy and abroad, he set new commercial and production targets with the aim of increasing awareness of Prosecco Valdo, or to be precise the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, throughout the world.
Valdo Prosecco DOC is a pale straw yellow in colour with greenish tinges. The bouquet is delicately fruity. Harmonious with a touch of ripe crab apples on the palate. The wine is cheerful and lively. It is an excellent aperitif.
