Chateau Le Rey 'Les Argileuses'
Castillion, Cotes de Bordeaux
1 x 75cl Bottle
Powerful full bodied red wine from the Limoux region of South-West France.  Aromatic notes of ripe black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry on the nose along with the spiciness of the Syrah grapes. On the palate, the acidity and roundness produce a soft, round but powerful wine. Delightful.

Domaine de Font Notre Dame Lirac
Rhone, France
1 x 75cl Bottle
A delicious wine, rich, ripe and robust with excellent weight of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, and bilberry fruits with pepper, spice and liquorice sensations. The structure is soft in the mouth followed by excellent fruit flavours with a hint of vanilla. The tannins are mellow due to maturation in oak barrels.  A superb smooth silky  wine made from low yielding grapes.  While it is drinking beautifully now it would hold cellaring very well for at least 5 years more, always a sign of a classy wine. 92 Parker Points

Domaine de Montine Cuvee 'Emotion'
Rhone, France
1 x 75cl Bottle
With its crimson dark and deep red colour, this wine is clearly full and fleshy.
The discreet first scent will open nicely after pouring in a Decanter. Step by step, Emotion unveils ... Slightly spicy, it reveals some well mastered, fine and elegant aging flavours. It becomes powerful in the mouth, with soft and round tannins that bring beautiful length on the palate. We really make sure this wine is alive and humble, as it is our house flagship. This cuvee perfectly embodies our “Grignan-les-Adhémar” vineyard and its complexity.

Château Des Gravieres, Graves 2018
Bordeaux, France
1 x 75cl Bottle
A French Grand Vin from Graves, Bordeaux, this red wine from Chateau des Gravieres uses hand picked grapes from 30 year old vines cultivated on a 3 hectare gravel soil vineyard. Composed on average of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, the red wines of Pessac-Léognan make a good compromise between marked tannins and the greediness of the fruit. We thus find red and ripe fruits, and empyreumatic notes.

Domaine Chanzy Rully 'Clos de Bellecroix'
Burgundy, France

1 x 75cl Bottle
Domaine Chanzy is a highly respected Burgundian producer, their wines are a classical demonstration of premium vineyard sites in Côte Chalonnaise, Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits.

Their range has been carefully engineered by winemaker Max Blondelle, whose primary task is to create wines that eloquently communicate their respective terroir, whilst remaining hands-off in his approach. As such, Chanzy are one of the few Burgundy producers to achieve Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3; the most highly regarded certification for agriculture in France.

Rully vineyards stretch for about four kilometers from Chagny where it has a few climats, to the southern limit of the Rully commune where it adjoins the Mercurey vineyards. This area has a remarkable limestone terroir.
The red wines, which are in the minority, are tender and fruity with a beautiful liveliness that underlines their exquisite minerality.

Chateau Verriere Bordeaux Superieur
Bordeaux, France
1 x 75cl Bottle

The Chateau Verriere is a Merlot based blend that displays generous ripe fruit and a satisfying bright finish. The wine’s colour inclines to bluish-purple rather than black, while the nose displays lush raspberry and black cherry notes. This precocious wine has great acidity in the finish that leaves you feeling vibrant and invigorated. We loved this vivacious little red and voted 7-0 in the first round to feature it. This is a great value and at this price may become an everyday affair.
