La Dame d’Angludet is the new name that we have given to the second wine from Château Anglulet. While it is true that the vines are young, the stock available today is of much better quality than previously. This makes for more “efficient” vine plants which are able to yield fruit more rapidly. This is why today more than ever, La Dame d’Angludet offers the best quality for price in the entire Margaux appellation, offering dazzling aromatic expression and gentle extract, which is sustained yet delicate. Thus renamed, it is a sincere tribute to the women who have contributed directly or indirectly to the history of our property dating from the 12th century.
Sustained colour. The nose is open, the oak already well integrated and at this stage the fruit of the Petit Verdot predominates. The palate is ample and perfectly balanced, with a deeply layered structure and generous extract. Like the chateau's first wine, the ideal balance of this wine, far from being monotonous, brings out every detail, creating relief and complexity that only the greatest terroirs can provide.
