Description:
This is a real old world winery in the Banat region, which goes back to the Roman period.  Fast forward to the turn of the century when the region’s vines are being replanted with the noble varietals i.e. Cabernet and Chardonnay etc., and the winery is fitted out with stainless steel automatic temperature controlled tanks for fermenting and storing the wines along with new modern bottling facilities.  The wine-making team of Harley Smithers from Australia and Nora Iriate from Spain, have between them done over 50 harvest in the world’s wine regions – no mean slouches here (!) and with the modern equipment and the experts putting the whole thing together, I think you’ll agree the wines are great value for money.

Tasting Note:
A concentration of chocolate, wild berry and raspberry, with hints of cranberry and mint on the palate followed by a touch of cloves and nutmeg. Ideal with pasta dishes and roasted red meats.
