Mankai means in Japanese:full bloom. This Japanese Gin is distilled by the Akita distillery on the island of Honshu following an ancestral Asian recipe that requires various herbs, spices and citrus fruits, some of which can only be found in Asia. 

Mankai Japanese Gin is distilled from a secret recipe of juniper, cardamom, coriander, cassia bark, orris root, and other botanicals. It has a distinctive character with hints of citrus and spice. Mankai Japanese Gin is one of the most popular gins in Japan.

Nose: A delicate aroma.

Palate: This is extremely rich with a touch of liquorice and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: The finish is supple and silky, unique and complex.
